okay just to update you guys. metamorphosis is coming and yeah we are scheduled to play for meta. had a bit of hiccups over the choosing of the song. thought that be my escape by relient k wasnt the best choice of songs as it was just a good song. thought the lyrics was too indirect for it to be an impactful Christian alternative song for the newbelievers. though perhaps something by lifehouse or switchfoot would be better. but oh well. after all that fuss and contemplation, the song is settled as be my escape.

i guess the biggest challenge for me was to play bass this time, and like learn it in 7 days then. couldnt really practice cause i aint got a bass guitar at home. and the greater challenge was strumming bass!! mute-ing(if there's such a word) and strumming the thick thick strings can be quite a challenge. oh well. but its cool okay. bass is cool. haha. and we got a drummer to fill in Chris for the moment, since he has bio stuff plagued the whole of wed. ah sad lah! i really want him to be down for meta. oh the drummer's shane form east i think. yeah he's real good for his age. haha we cant get over the fact that he's only sec 1 lah.

oh and we found this real cool jamming studio at tampines near where shane lives. cause the cool thing bout this jamming studio is its a Christian one!! with autographed SONICFLOOd and Reuben Morgan posters. yeah the uncle and aunty running the place was real nice to us. came and sit in with our pracs and stuff. and gave us an extra 30 mins today, and charged us a discounted price the first time we went even though the promotion date was over. cool eh!? oh and he sorta brought us into his secret chamber at the back. haha where he had this room which he specially set apart as the prayer room. and how he told us he believed that making Christian music should be well balanced with prayer. nice brothers and sisters we have out there!

come to think of it. this whole holiday week is really packed with stuff. OH and how great our church's gonna merge the two youth services and have study groups in the morning, haha how timely.

gonna take my sis down to church this thursday for that zoo-hunt thingy wadeva it is. haha. some peeps dressed up in animal costumes or wadeva. i realised this should be the first time im gonna take my sis out all by myself. haha watch the brotherliness in me man!

oh yeah. we finally came out with a much cooler band name than present A.M. Static...
