Happy Mother's Day.

yeah. felt kinda bad. woke up by a phone call from Calvin at bout 9.15am. he was already waiting for me at Amk KFC. man, i overslept again. by the time i reached there i was close to bout 55 mins late lah. then had our final shepherding at KFC. kinda talked abit, and he passed me a S.O.W. handbook as some kind of farewell gift. gonna be transfered under Jon. anyway, after some talking we left for some kind of traditional breakfast at one of the hawker centers there. oh yeah, saw duno who but this girl from tuition at KFC. lol, and i thought i was the one who stayed furthest from the tuition center.

had two hard-boiled eggs and a glass of hot milo. lol. tried in failed attempt to act like uncles having breakfast at a coffeeshop, sitting with one leg on the chair and all, and trying to stir the milo without hand movement. haha. imagine doing that in jeans. failed attempt lah. after which Calvin ordered some beehoon noodles. haha ate like crazy. then made our way to Amk library. returned the books i borrowed some weeks back, which basically just collected dust. then Calvin met the guy whom he met on the bus during water baptism day when he lost his keys. kinda small world lah. talked abit then went outta library. met many people lah, many of his friends. then on the way out tried the super thick iced-milo. haha. could nearly drown of food and milo, not to mention the pizza i had at home before i left. really was so full lah, could throw up. then met Calvin's other AJC friend at the Amk MRT platform, and took the same train. we alighted at somerset.

then came outta train met Rachael near the control station, walked out to S-11 met Weiqiang, then in S-11 met Jon and forgot who. haha. using alot of 'met's. messaged Michael and Melcher whether could make it earlier in the morning but sadly both could not. oh well. then went for Prayer Meet. the ballon was blocking my view lah, cant read the lyrics off the screen. so sang half the song, half in tongues. haha.

it was Mother's Day/Parent's Day service today. had a super cool play which went really well by the drama team, on the "Song Family". a typical Singaporean family lah. they had the spoiled kid, all too often bullied grandma, hen-pecked husband, and bossy wife. wadeva lah. haha. it was cool yeah. then had many many great testimonies. David Hoe gave his testimonial too, could tell he was rather nervous lah, was moving left and right. In case u guys aint know who he is, he's the top 'N' level student for year 2004. shared bout his family background and how our church has changed him. then another testimonial by some guy's mom, on how Chirst has changed her son and her. she shared in chinese lah, tried my best to understand. it was really really touching okay, coz wad she shared was really wad many of us were going through in a typical singapore family. had some video clips dedicated to parents, especially mothers. it was cool lah. and heartwarming as well. it kinda made me reflect i guess during the sermon. i hadnt been the best son a parent would want. in fact, i was all too often rebelling and not communicating with them. the Holy Spirit was prompting me lah, and felt kinda guilty. oh well. No worship coz of parents day service. this service is too formal and occasion i think. so thankfully we had prayer meet so at least had a song. no doing of tongues during service too coz it may freak out the parents. imagine they see us jumping then raising hands and speaking out in a new language. haha. oh well.

oh yeah, did i mention? Nicholas was back to join us from N.S. haha. he had this super cool army hair-cut which we couldnt stop touching his head. lol. abit gay from a certain point of view. after service kinda had some dessert coz was still too full from breakfast. talked and talked, then went to do something which i had never ever done in my 15 yrs of my life. i went to shop for a Mother's Day present at Centre Point. haha after much choosing and all, (as you can see, im a really terrible gift shopper) i finally bought a fridge magnet which i forgot wad it says. the prices of Mother's Day presents are really jacked up by bout 300%. after which contemplated whether i should take the bus or train to tuition. ended up settling with train.

reached there kinda early lah, 5 pm+. tried to do some chemistry. studied then Snow White came and sat next to me. okay no more Snow White, found out that her name is Fiona. lol. then tried to do Chemistry lah. then heres the funny part, as i was doing, she took out some chocolate. i tell u it was so funny lah. then i thought, ' i bet she's gonna offer me one.' then just as that thought flashed across my mind, she offered me right at that moment. haha. i really almost laughed out then it was so funny i dropped me pen(which made me look like a total loser and gave her the impression that i was turning red.. which i was so obviously not..) i didnt accept lah lol. too funny to say yes. if i did i bet i would control till my eyes 'pop'ed out. haha. oh well.

had i ever mentioned to you how desperate a girl could get. i mean seriously, if u ever thought that guys were the desperate one, you are like so wrong lah. okay, ya know there's this girl from tuition. got my phone number from the log-in book. and was like smsing me. i mean, okay lah. just sms. then erm i think she was at tuition when i was there lah. didnt really bother coz was paying attention to chemistry. then like fine lah. my phone bill was running high so i didnt really reply. but if a girl can like tell you that they love you over some sms WHEN she had neva ever talked to you before. ya know that something is surely wrong lah. eh, i mean, girls these days are geting really thick-skinned lah. i replied obviously wad was the right thing to do lah. said 'no'. sheesh. was glad if it would just end there. thing is she still carries on the smses and okay lah i mean. fine yeah. thick-skin can lah, but have limits pls. then she just CALLED my phone. i didnt reply the sms coz i could like ya know, pretend i was sleeping. but pls lah, call me at 1.05am. worst thing is it was a unknown number, so i thought it was someone else who had something really important to tell me at this hour. so i picked it up.. dude, she just hung up. sheesh then had no choice had to reply her sms coz she knew i was awake. after which i stopped replying lah. then she called AGAIN. TWICE SOMEMORE. sheesh. talking bout desperateness. not trying to boast or anything here, but you know such people really turns me off lah. blah blah blah. dats it.

oh yeah. gonna be a really good son later. gonna give my first ever Mother's Day present to my mom. she's like gonna be so shock lah. nah, i bet she'll starting crying in happiness. wahaha. wadeva lah. dat reminds me, i aint removed the price tag yet. lol. $7.50 fridge magnet. yeap, why dont u all do something nice for your mothers this Mother's Day okay, then maybe when u wanna get more allowance in the future it would be easier. haha. jkjk. really needed start mugging. Chinese Os. sheesh, my house is like infested with flies now lah. after rain syndrome. oh well.
