Woke up really early to assemble at St. Andrews Cathedral South Transit hall to go for church camp. i don't really remember much bout dat time lah, coz it was like 3 days ago.. remembered dat we played soccer in the room while waiting lah. Set off for camp lah, at Sembawang GB campsite, in some primary school bus. First day quite hot.. pity they neva come with us on the bus there coz they got some concert or something.. we set off for camp site at bout 10.30am den check in and camp briefing at 11.30pm. Had our files which contained the grouping and camp programme. Wasted sia i not in her group, but nvm lah.. Was in the same group with at least someone i knoe, which was Gabriel.

Slept in boys bunk 2. Shared with most of the soccer guys lah, whom which we all eventually became close friends lah. We had lunch at bout 12.30pm. much better eating conditions den Perak though, coz no files and erm girls normally serve the food. lol, they were being helpful. But most of the time we get our own food lah, they only serve drinks occasionally. Played soccer before and after lunch, met many new friends lah. Play and play untill damn dead shed. Went for games at 2 pm. Games on first day not dat fun though, coz mostly outdoor games, but get to mingle and mix lah, but no point really since many of them have not arrived.. Played all kinds of camp games u can think of, to even some Fruit Jeropady and using your feet to pick up tomatos and then squishing them and putting it on someone's head. i remember first game is to remember a certain phrase allocated to each team lah. i still remember mine lor, "They angered him with their high towers, they aroused his jealousy with their idols." Psalms 58:78 i think, or issit 38:58, or wadeva lah. But still dat proves dat i got good memory yeahh. Had tea at 4pm, of which we took less den 20 mins and went to play soccer after dat till bout 5pm den had our bathe and den dinner at 6.30pm. Dat's when they came. It's always nice to see a pretty face yeah, i mean familiar face.. I'm telling you she is hot. Epitome of perfection.. Okok.. i mean erm they arrived den came and greeted everyone. Den joined us for dinner. They came from some concert lah. Things would just get better from here. We had our first session at 7.30pm where we had our first ice-breaker game. Got two groups, den a towel is used to block the other person behind the towel lah. den when the towel is pulled off must see who can call the other person name first lah. It was also during dat event when i talked to Hannah for da first time. Basically this whole camp was about the topic on "idols". First session was rather boring, at the Blue Room, unlike the other two which i will talk bout later.. The speaker was Francis, quite a powerful speaker lah. talking and keeping your attention to him. Played Truth or Dare before lights out and one of the dare was to propose to the picture or Mrs S.R. Nadan. lol, it was a howler man. Melcher proposed to the wooden wall used for climbing as an obstacle course. okay anyway, lights out at 11pm and we were so tired from soccer and games dat we slept almost immediately lah, despite Kenneth's singing and stuff.

Day 2. Woke up for quite time at around 6.50am. Quiet time was at 7am. Basically was just talking bout the bible and the topic of dat particular day lah. My group got Gabriel, Benjamin Yen, Hannah, and other people who i not dat familiar with. Talked bout idols i think and why it's wrong to have one. Our group ended abit early lah, den went back the bunk to sleep a while more. Had our breakfast at 8am. After dat went back bunk sleep and rest again, before heading to the Blue Room for session 2. Had another ice breaker game which was called the Samson and Delilah ice-breaker . Basically like sissors, paper and stone lah. But instead of dat action u must do some girly action to represent Delilah, which was to place your finger on your lips and like basically acting cute lah, a action dat i would rather be caught dead den doing. Samson was the action to do some macho sign over your head with both hands. den the last one is the lion when u have to growl and do the lion sign lah. First two was Kenneth and me. Obviously i did the Samson action while he did the Delilah action. lol, so i went over to the other group. the last group with more people wins lah. Den when Kimberly went up for her turn, damn cute sia when she do the Delilah sign. Puts a smile on ya face. Den was two times tie i think, den she did the lion one and growled. lol, i am telling ya she's cool. Nono, she's hot. Anyway session 2 was nothing dat i had ever experienced in my entire life of 15 yrs. Okok, the session was as normal lah. But when the session ended there was this praying session. Den those who wanna get prayed or let the Holy Spirit touch your soul can go tell Francis or the other leaders yeah. ok, you see arh, first one girl went up to have the prayer lah. But really, i mean if you were there u could sense the presense of the Holy Spirit. As we were singing and giving thanks, some girls at the back started to cry. At first i thought its coz of the air-condition or something, but then one after another they went up to get prayed for and each time dat happens, they started crying. Den it's like when they pray for you rite, they take both your hands, den start talking to you. it's like everyone just gets erm like, hypnotised. Not the right word to use but it's really how it seems like. They just fall backwards after a while of the prayer and another leader or person at the back would help them and place them on the floor. I seriously duno wad was going on coz i neva been to something like this before. But i tell you the feeling inside the room was really strange and weird. Abit sad like God died for us and abit strange like you knoe, i can't believe dat was happening. And it really freaks me out to see so many girls cry. And they were like crying till the extend dat they were crying their hearts out. Even as i blogging bout this now it really feels weird lor.. Imagine so many people crying for no apparent scientific reason but just coz they presense of the Holy Spirit was so strong yeah. Even the male guitarist teared and Kenneth cried. But i duno lah, i didn't. Not coz i didn't feel it or something but coz erm i hadn't cried in quite a long time lah, but there's dat real strong feeling of sadness but no tears i guess. Anyway it was lunch and session 3 after dat. Session 3 was also bout talk on Idolism, and i was seriously wishing wad happened earlier would not happen again coz i would really freak out this time. But nonetheless, the same thing happened but not as much tears lah. I mean if you are not a Christian and you were in the room at dat very point of time, you would feel as though you had been one all your life. You get wad i mean lah.

Well after session 3 was preparation for the 'idol' nite concert. They seperate the groups again into boys and girls. i think coz they don't wanna have too much mingling lah. We guys just planned a slip-short play lah and didn't bother bout the song we were supposed to do, den went to play soccer in the rain. Had a real good time playing in the rain yeahh, while the girls were like preparing their play for bout 1 hr. lol, we played for the entire time den went to reharse the play once after our bath. Bath time was really fun coz we were singing and spraying the shower to others the next cubicle. Den played soccer at the open space near our bunk where we reharsed our play and then went back to bunk to play our newly invented game called 'Bluff'. It was really funny and we laughed our hearts out as this game required extreme lying and gaming skills. i teamed up with Kenneth beside me and there was no way we could lose. Played untill we were late for the BBQ and den went down to eat. Then "idol" nite started. The girls play was of course much better den ours. Their play was about erm i duno really, but i was really cute and funny lah. Didn't get the idea though, while ours was just bout underage kids going clubbing. Lol, when it was our turn for the song Kenneth went up stage first, den we all pangseh-ed him and he had to do the song alone. It was his idea for dat song anyway, some lame song with very sissy actions. Anyway we lost to the girls at "idol" nite. After dat we had nite games. It was really a blast lah. Coz it was at nite and outdoors so we couldn't tell who was who. We played Captain's ball and Dog-and-Bone. Captain's ball was really confusing coz i duno which girl was on my team and it was the rule dat only girls could score. Den when ya have the ball its like they all say you're on their team. I passed wrongly to one girl sia, bluff me say my team den score make us conceed a goal. All my fault. Can't really remember her name lah but remember her face. The Captain's Ball ended in an outrage of water bombs fight which made my last set of clothes all soaking wet. Someone even threw one in my ear. After dat Dog-and-Bone. The bone was two bars of soap, which was eventually somehow reduced to one. My team got more guys lah, although all not really sports people, but we had Kimberly so who cares? Our team won obviously although many times we were trying to swing the referee to our side. But wad matter's is we have fun rite? It was also Daphne's birthday dat day so Kimberly and the rest were like throwing cake at her. Dat's really cool rite? Wrong. We had eat the remaining of the cake the next morning for breakfast which had water and soap in it. lol, but not dat much i guess. Den went back to the canteen to play with ice while the girls were like putting ice down each others backs and soon it was the cleavage too.. den they took each others slippers and started running around. lol, it's amazing how in just a short span of a few hours the very same girls could be crying their eyes out and now having all the fun in the world u can imagine. Anyway really fun at games nite and den we went back to the bunk in the midst of contemplating whether to sneak out before mid-night to catch Arsenal vs Chelsea at the nearest coffeeshop or pub, but pity the gate was lock. So we went back to our bunk to play more of 'Bluff'. We sneaked in two 1.5 litre cokes into our bunk which we intended to use as punishment but didn't even open them and we gave one to the other boys bunk. We raised the stakes of 'Bluff' whereby the loser had to do Truth or Dare. Lol, its always the 12 yr old kids who lost and they had to go to the girls bunk to say, "have any of you girls seen my bra?" Lol, not my idea. Of coz not mine. Kenneth's idea. It was really funny lah. After we got sick of 'Bluff', we played Blackjack. But wads Blackjack without betting? But it was church camp, so we bet with push-ups. Play untill Kenneth and Joshua gave up and went ran outta the bunk downstairs. You might wanna knoe wad the girls were doing, they were playing cards at the open area near our bunk. Till bout 5 am. While we could not leave our bunk and mingle with them for some apparent reason, they could leave theirs. But then we talked bout jokes and games and the stupid, lame "What's Next?" game which i took more den 7 hrs to figure out the logic behind it. Coz the biggest damn stupid clue was, "It is just a game." Ok, i think i took the longest to figure dat out lah. And i didn't really get to sleep for the 1 hr which i planned too coz i was figuring the reason behind it. Den Kenneth and Gabriel not telling me. Managed to fall asleep at bout 5 am too. Anyway, i figured out the other two riddles so i am not dat slow after all. Anyway the older boys in our bunk were talking bout BGR and praying dat it was the right girl and stuff. and bout which is more important, teacher's or parents opinion. Eu Tong even borrowed my bible to find out more about it. They really do take a relationship dat seriously.. Anyway slept for 1 hr before waking up for day 3.

Had quite time again at 7 am and breakfast at 8 am. Basically today was just bout clearing and packing up before leaving the campsite. Didn't wear jeans coz i thought no one wear. Apparently was so stupid coz everyone else wore jeans coz we were going ice-skating after leaving campsite. But who needs jeans if you are good at skating and not fall rite? lol.. Took the same bus to Jurong East, Fugi Ice Palace. i was freezing as we queued for our skates coz i was in shorts. But as soon as you got on the ice you won't feel dat cold anymore. My record ok, no falls at all. Maybe coz it's only the second time i been there but still i didn't fall. All the history of roller-blading proved to be useful after all. And boy Kimberly could skate. How cool is dat. ok well Hannah could too, Joanne could too. erm maybe all can lah. And Kenneth learned how to skate. Melcher and Shermon also i think. And Joanne wore dat same sweater she used to take this pic with Kimberly which looked like they wear hiding behind it naked. lol, damn cool sia. den she wore it to ice-skating which made her look like some little Orange-riding-hood on skates. yeah, made friends with Joel also at the skating ring and skated and skated till 1 am. Actually planned to watch movie after dat, but i guess the girls won't dat keen on dat. So were like after skating went for lunch and den back to the ring to get our lauggage before heading to Jurong East Mrt to take train home. Lol, Melcher went home with Joanne alone sia. While i went home with Gabriel, Wen Hsin, Joel and his sister, Hannah and her brother and some other guys from another service. Tried my best too keep awake on the train coz if i were to sleep i duno if i could get up lah. Anyway, after 14 stops i arrived at Bishan and crossed the overhead bridge to wait for the 54 bus. i was so tired dat i didn't even see my mom waiting at the taxi stand beside the bus-stop and i almost boarded the bus before i heard someone shouting my name with my headphones blasting McFly's, Obviously into my head. Anyway slept immediately when i came home after a shower.

Been blogging for bout 2 over hrs already. Well i guess i learnt alot from this camp lah, and meet many, many people. Well although it was really energy draining, it was fun lah. More fun den Perak and sec 3 camp. Anyway, back at home now and look forward to seeing all of them again this sunday at church.
